Too close to call.
Coda's own pricing page lives on someone else's domain
Notion is the Community Pick. Coda needs 2 more to take it.
One tap, no signup. Your back moves that company up the community board; more backers make it the Community Pick. The score doesn't change.
WHICH SHOULD YOU CHOOSE?
Notion is the safer pick on what we can check; Coda needs a reason we don't have yet.
Choose Notion if…
Choose Coda if…
Nothing we can check yet makes Coda the better answer for a particular buyer.
Worked out from prices read on each company's own site and what reviewers repeatedly say, both linked below. We don't pick a winner: the right answer depends on which of these you care about.
Both sites score 80 because they win in different places. Notion wins on frictionless signup and named executive quotes, Coda wins on deeper role-by-role workflow detail, and both leave trust half-built with no real company background shown.
Coda's homepage opens with 'Coda is now Superhuman Docs' and its pricing link sends visitors to superhuman.com/plans/docs. A first-time buyer clicking 'Get started' lands on a different brand mid-checkout, which is a strange thing to discover right before entering a card.
Coda's product page splits into product, sales, engineering and design sections, each with named artifacts like a 'Jira dashboard' or 'Visual QA tracker.' Notion's product page repeats the homepage almost verbatim, with fewer role-specific examples beyond triaging feedback and Slack tickets.
Notion's homepage names three executives, including Cursor's CEO, next to specific quotes about using the product. Coda's headline testimonial is an unattributed line boasting it's 'more flexible than Airtable or Notion,' which reads more like ad copy than customer proof.

GOOD AT
Notion keeps its 'Get Notion free' and 'Request a demo' buttons visible everywhere and backs itself with named executive quotes instead of anonymous praise.
COSTING THEM
Neither the homepage nor the pricing page says who runs the company or where it's based, which caps its trust score even with the Forbes Cloud 100 line.
GOOD AT
Coda's product page maps concrete tools to specific teams, like a Jira dashboard for engineering or a mutual action plan for sales, giving visitors workflows they can picture using tomorrow.
COSTING THEM
The Superhuman Docs rebrand bleeds into the pricing experience before it's finished settling, sending buyers off-domain at the exact moment they're deciding whether to trust the company with a card number.
THE OVERTAKE MOVE
Notion should add a real about or company page naming its leadership and location, since trust is its lowest score by a wide margin. Coda should either finish the Superhuman Docs rename everywhere or keep pricing on coda.io until it does, because right now the checkout flow looks like it's sending people to a different company.
Fix it, then rescan in a week to see if the result flips.
Only Notion's pricing has been checked so far; Coda's is next time it is analysed.
NOTION
Free plan, then $10 per seat / month.
What makes the bill grow
CODA
We haven't checked this company's pricing yet.
Prices are read from each company's own pages and never estimated. When a business bills by usage or only by quote, there is no single price to compare, so we show the meter and what can make the bill grow instead.
Notion and Coda are tied at 80/100 on PickDuel. Both sites score 80 because they win in different places. The score rates how clearly each public website explains the product, earns trust, shows pricing and asks for the next step. It is not a judgement of product quality.
Connected AI workspace combining notes, docs, databases, and autonomous agents for teams. (Based on notion.com.)
All-in-one collaborative workspace blending docs, spreadsheets, applications, and proactive AI. (Based on coda.io.)
Notion: The pricing tier overview explicitly details free and paid plans with per-seat monthly rates, along with credit costs for AI agents. Coda: Detailed pricing tiers are provided ($0 Free, $12 Pro, $33 Business, and Enterprise custom per Doc Maker) with clear feature comparisons.
Notion has 1 backer and Coda has 0 backers. Each browser can back one side once. Backing never changes the PickDuel score.
PickDuel reads up to three public pages per website and runs one web search. A language model rates 11 specific signals from 0 to 5, and fixed code turns them into a 0-100 score: positioning 25, product clarity 20, trust 20, conversion 20, pricing clarity 15.
PickDuel scores public website communication, not product quality. Backers never change the score. How scoring works
Almost nobody decides between two. These are the businesses the public puts next to Notion, with the reason each one comes up — checked against their own sites and their public reviews, not our opinion.
